Plumbers and HVAC Contractors Insurance Programs

We are also pleased to announce we have been selected to place qualified California Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) members in our Plumber and HVAC Insurance program combining General Liability, Pollution, and Mold coverage.

The rate for our combined form is very competitive with carriers offering general liability only. All plumbers and HVAC contractors work in environments where asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, and blood borne pathogens may exist. General liability policies specifically exclude these exposures.

The general liability, contractor pollution liability, and mold liability are all written on an occurrence basis. Nose coverage is available for those that may currently have contractor pollution liability with or without mold.

Plumbers and HVAC contractors that take advantage of this pollution liability insurance will be provided with a plumber liability reduction course at a nominal cost. The course covers topics including: asbestos, lead, mold, bacteria, and blood borne pathogens. The insured will receive up to 15% at the first renewal based on the number of employees who complete the course.  Each employee who completes the course will be awarded a certificate of completion for the class. 

In the event you cause an at fault loss situation on a job, you will also be provided with an approved restoration vendor who will mitigate the damages at a reduced rate. This risk management tool ensures the program does not have a frequency of reported claims as the problems are taken care of by the approved restorer before any claims are ever presented to the carrier. This tool can best be compared to a tanker truck on the freeway losing its load and the carrier’s emergency provider responding to do the cleanup immediately.
