CFI Members Insurance Program
We are pleased to announce a new insurance program designed specifically for members of the Carpet & Fabricare Institute. This new program, which includes general liability and pollution insurance combined on the same policy, is offered exclusively by National E&S Insurance Brokers, Inc. and American Safety Insurance Company. American Safety, National E&S Insurance Brokers, and Driscoll & Driscoll Insurance Agency are the sole providers of this insurance program.
The program was designed by Ross Driscoll, CEO of Driscoll & Driscoll Insurance Agency to meet the specific insurance needs of carpet cleaners and water damage mitigation contractors.
Vincent Attardo, Founder and CEO of Coastline Environmental Solutions, Inc., is the CFI Los Angeles Chapter Director and Insurance Chairman who is responsible for spearheading this effort. CFI members who take advantage of this insurance program receive a $100.00 rebate off their CFI membership and generous discounts on CFI-sponsored certification courses, IICRC certified courses and yearly connections convention and trade show.
Program Details
General Liability and Pollution Liability is written on an occurrence form with professional liability offered on a claims-made basis.
- The insurance program includes general liability, pollution and professional liability combined on the same policy
- Separate dedicated limits of liability for pollution
- Mold is included on an occurrence basis
- Defense costs are outside limits on the general liability and pollution liability
- The pollution limits are dedicated and do not dilute the general liability limits
- Punitive Damages where insurable by law
- Coverage for “Your Work” performed by you or on your behalf
- Emergency response expense included in clean-up costs
- Broad location coverage
- Blanket additional insured endorsements
The following endorsements will be added to all CFI accounts at no additional charge:
- Blanket primary and non-contributory wording
- Blanket waiver of subrogation
- Blanket additional insured cg 20 10 07 04 ongoing operations and additional insured cg 20 37 07 04 completed operations endorsements
- Transportation pollution coverage endorsement will be added to all polices for no additional premium
- Non owned disposal sites coverage included at no additional premium
- Non-auditable policy available
- Bailees customers coverage (Varies on limits required) is available for care, custody, or control of customer’s property.
